Do i need new brake rotors?

recently i started hearing a squeaking noise from the front passenger side of my car. kinda hard to explain but its a squeak squeak squeak like in a rhythm. when i speed up the rhythm speeds up and when i slow down it also slows down. so i figured it was my rotors but asked a friend just to be sure and he said to try changing my brake pads first. so i changed them and it helped for about a week and how they are squeaking again and alot worse than before and kind of embarrassing to say the least. before i bought some rotors, i just wanted your opinions. thanks for any help. oh i dont know if it matters but it is on a 1999 chevy malibu. thanks.Do i need new brake rotors?it could be u caused brake fade and the pads are glazed over.are they semi metallic is do maybe u didn't break them inDo i need new brake rotors?Your brakes pads were changed. A squeak squeak squeak would indicate a warped rotor:

1. Buy brand new rotors if they are inexpensive. Rotors can be as low as $20ish and above $200.

2. Have a shop %26quot;turn%26quot; your rotors which means grinding them down so that they are perfectly flat. This is usually included if you have a %26quot;break job%26quot; done on your car. Or take the rotors off yourself and carry them into a machine shop that grinds rotors.Do i need new brake rotors?Go to a auto part store and buy disc brake quite either blue or red and follow the directions.
